WEEK 13 UPDATE — Indoor Food Growing Program
Hey everyone,
We’ve officially hit Week 13 of the Indoor Food Growing Program — and this is a really important transition point.
You’re no longer just getting started.
You’re now locking in your garden for the next few months.
📍 Where We Are Right Now
We’re wrapping up Quarter 1 (Jan–March):
Greens → should be producing consistently
Herbs → established and ready for regular harvest
Fruiting plants → fully planted and growing
This week is about stability and setup for flowering.
🍅 What You Should Be Doing This Week
Keep it simple — focus on these:
✔ Finalize your fruiting plants
→ (3–5 per person is enough)
✔ One plant per container
→ 3-gallon pot (soil) or hydro bucket
✔ Dial in your lighting
→ 100W LED per fruiting plant
→ 12–18 inches above canopy
✔ Start light pruning + airflow
→ Add a small fan if you haven’t yet
✔ Harvest your greens
→ 2–3 times per week
What to Expect Next
Over the next 1–2 weeks:
You should start seeing flowers forming
Growth should feel more stable
Your systems should require less setup, more maintenance
🙌 If You’re Just Joining This Week
You are NOT behind.
Start with:
1 greens system (16 plants is plenty)
1–2 fruiting plants
Proper lighting
That’s enough to begin.
📺 This Week’s Grow Night
🗓 Saturday at 8 PM
Pollination, Pruning & Supporting Fruiting Plants
This is the step that helps turn growth → into actual food.
